Welcome to SE6 Kitchen

SE6 Kitchen is a food blog where we share the recipes we develop in our kitchen. We also write reviews on restaurants, bars, markets and local produce exclusively focused on the South East London area.

We moved to the Corbett Estate, Catford in 2018 and as recent blow ins, we didn’t really know the area and we were looking for a decent guide on what to do, where to eat, where to have a drink, where to shop etc. We couldn’t find an online guide that we were entirely happy with, so we decided to start one ourselves! Before we moved to South East London, we had no idea how good the food and drink scene was, and we decided that we really wanted to champion everything South East London has to offer.

We only review restaurants and bars that we love, so if you see one on our blog, you can rest assured that it is well worth a visit. The produce and beer sections cover artisan food producers as well as breweries exclusively located in SE postcodes, local people doing amazing things with food and drink. We want you to know all of the good quality suppliers in the area to help you shop local.

We are a husband and wife team, Claire is from Australia and works as an Interior Designer specialising in corporate fitouts, Chris is an Accountant from Ireland, specialising in business performance. Those are our day jobs but our real passion is, as you may have guessed, food!
